A RUSTED DEVELOPMENT This work uses a variety of the reclaimed wood siding and metal roofing materials from old barns. The heavily oxidized metals with their rich patinas are shaped and fused to create a dimensional result (no paint is used). Antique barn boards handsomely frame each piece, with rusted metal ribbing added to highlight the subject. Focusing on the depiction of landscapes, Bob's inspiration for the series is drawn from the spectacular vistas found in the great mountain ranges of North America.
